Changes and Additions
 

  

Sheep Division:  Change to:         All sheep must be washed & clipped in the sheep barn areas and areas designated by show officials.

Change in sheep show check in and show times:  Check in time changed to 10am to Noon and Show time changed to 2:00pm

Hog weight cards and hogs must be in place in assigned pens by 3:00pm on Thursday of Regional Show.  No penning or showing out of trailers.

Lost tags on all animals must be replaced by check in time for their division.

Show Ring Dress Code:  All junior exhibitors will wear one of the following:
  • 1.     An official 4H vest or jacket.  Must be of the appropriate colors of solid green, solid white or a mix of green and white.  Must have an official emblem of at least 2 ½ inches permanently attached.  Must wear a collared shirt under the vest or jacket that is of the appropriate colors of solid green, solid white, or a mix of green and white.
    2.     An official FFA corduroy jacket from the National FFA supply catalog.  Must wear a collared shirt under the jacket that is of the appropriate colors of solid white, solid blue, solid yellow, or a mix of blue and yellow.
    3.     A buttoned up, collared shirt, short or long sleeve, of the appropriate 4H colors of solid green, solid white, or a mix of green and white; or FFA colors of solid white, solid blue, solid yellow, or a mix of blue and yellow.  No third color mix, or additional colors are allowed.  Must have and official 4H or FFA emblem of at least 2 ½ inches permanently attached.
    4.     No headgear is allowed.

    The Show Ring Dress Code will also be enforced during the Premium Sale

Ø  Registered heifers must have hair samples (DNA); if the tattoo is not present a MRJLS nomination tag must be attached; if registration papers are not available at the time of nomination a MRJLS nomination tag must be attached.  Birthdate and breed must be recorded on nomination form.  Heifers must be shown as nominated.  If an exhibitor nominates a registered heifer without registration papers and would like the option to show the heifer as commercial, in case registration papers are not received, heifer must be nominated as a registered and commercial with 2 envelopes and 2 fees.
