Rules - Breeding Doe Kids

Superintendents and assistants will weigh all Doe Kids between 9 am and 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2012
Show begins at 11 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2012
- All general rules and regulations apply - see General Rules & Regulations page.
- All animals must have completed the nomination process. All doe kids must be entered by official deadline of December 12, 2011.
- An official health certificate must accompany all show animals. The official health certificate must be issued within thirty (30) days and shall be available at all times to the representatives of the Animal Industry Division. All animals must be free of any infectious, communicable or contagious disease and if such a disease is found, it will be cause for removal of the animal(s) from exhibition.
- Doe kids must be dehorned or horns tipped.
- No animal in any division may be shown in more than one class.
- Scrapie Tags must be in compliance with State Regulations.
- Minimum weight requirement for breeding does is 50 pounds. Maximum weight limit is 160 pounds.
- NO BRACING
- Prize money will be divided among classes according to number of entries per class.
- Doe kids will not be eligible for the premium auction.
- Goats will be divided into classes at the discretion of the superintendent.
- Before leaving show, please clean out pens and place the wood chips and manure north of the barn along the edge of the blacktop.
